Let’s install the plugins
Thank you! Let’s install your plugins
Your download code is on its way by email. Give it a minute, and if it’s not in your main inbox, search for Felt Instruments or check notifications and spam.

Download the Felt Instruments Installer: macOS or Windows.macOS 10.13+, Windows 10+ (64-bit)

Run the installer. Then redeem the download code from the email you received after purchase. If it is not in your main inbox, check the notifications and spam folders.

For Logic or GarageBand, restart your Mac before you load the plugins. For Ableton or another VST3 DAW, enable the VST3 system folder in preferences.
frequently asked
I lost my download code!
You can ask for your codes again. Download the Felt Instruments Installer, run it, and accept the licence terms. Then click the "can't find the codes?" button at the bottom left of the installer. Confirm your email address, and I send all your download codes again.
Is there a single installer for all plugins?
Yes. One installer covers everything. Enter your download code to start.
Do I need to be online to install the plugins?
Yes. The installer checks your download code and downloads the sample files. After that you can disconnect.
Do I need my download code once I’ve redeemed it?
Yes, keep it. There are no accounts and no passwords: the code is how the installer knows you. You need it again to install the plugin on another machine. If you lose it, see "I lost my download code!" above.
Do I need to keep the installer on my computer once I’ve installed the plugins?
No, you can remove it. To install an update or download the content again, return to this page and download the installer again.
I got the plugins when you were using Pulse for distribution
Your Pulse download codes still work: I moved them to the new system. Download the Felt Instruments Installer and enter your old Pulse code.
Do you collect any data when I install the plugin?
The installer records four things:
- a confirmation that your download code has been redeemed
- your IP address and machine ID
- your operating system
- the path you downloaded the content to
I use that for two things: troubleshooting an install that has gone wrong, and checking that a licence is not being shared beyond the machines its owner uses. It goes to the same Supabase database as your order records, and to nobody else. The privacy policy has the rest.
How to uninstall a plugin
Open the Felt Instruments Installer and accept the licence terms. Choose "manage a plugin" at the bottom left, then pick the plugin you want to remove. Choose to uninstall, and you are done.
