story
Born at the dawn of electronic music. Still bold now.
The year is 1957. In Warsaw, behind the Iron Curtain, the Polish Radio Experimental Studio opens. It becomes one of the first studios in the world built for making experimental electronic music, and one of the few places where artists could chase their boldest ideas, splicing tape and inventing the sound as they went.
The Rysy plugin is sampled from that studio's own W49 filter, the very unit Eugeniusz Rudnik and Krzysztof Penderecki worked on. It's also the filter behind Stockhausen's Kontakte. These are the tools the studio's pioneers used to make their own path. I'm glad to put them back in working hands.
