Kolor and Brut go well together. From a touch of colour to raging crunch, you might not need much more.
Kolor is a modular equalizer sampled from rare post-war European hardware, free to mix and match however you like. Brut is saturation sampled from rare studio and test equipment, pushed well past where it was meant to operate.
Both are sampled, not modelled. Most analogue emulations approximate a circuit with an algorithm; these are the real units, sampled and put back together. Set them by ear and get on with the mix.
