Rysy and Smugi. Two devices that shaped early electronic music, then dropped out of memory.
Rysy is a 1950s filter and tube preamp from the Polish Radio Experimental Studio, captured as one chain. Smugi is a 1960s Swiss filter bank sampled from the Albiswerk 502 - twelve parallel bands of glory.
Both were built for people inventing a language as they went along. Run your own recordings through them and invent some of your own.
