Piano and strings. The pairing almost always works. Sometimes it just lacks the thing that keeps a listener leaning in.
This one was built to fix that. A 1970s touring grand with two strings per key and no soundboard, recorded acoustically, a cousin of Nils Frahm's Una Corda. Beside it, the Blisko violin and cello, every note played by hand and recorded up close.
Nothing here lands the same way twice, and none of it was recorded the usual way. And that's the beauty of it.
